Two State Borders Tour | OZ Motorbike Tours

Day 1 – Friday

7.00 am – Pick up from Accommodation – Bike Allocation and familiarization. Pack Saddlebags and Tour Briefing.

9.00 am – Ride to Montville via Palmwoods and Flaxton. Lunch and Sights at Montville.

1.00 pm – Montville to Mapleton . Visit Mapleton Falls.

2.00 pm – Mapleton Falls to Kenilworth. spectacular views of the Obi Obi Gorge

3.30 pm – Arrive Kenilworth Hotel overnight (twin share country hotel) enjoy hospitality of our hosts.

Day 2 – Saturday

8.00 am – Kenilworth to Gympie via Imbil . Visit markets at the country town of Imbil.

10.30 am – Imbil to Gympie Lunch at Gympie Visit Historic gold mine museum.

2.00 pm – Ride to Glastonbury camping ground via Widgee.

3.30 pm – Set up camp overnight stay Ozize style camping and meals.

6.30 pm – 11.30 pm – Lower Wonga drive-in theatre, view two movies and return to camping area.

Day 3 – Sunday

9.00 am – Gladstonbury to Woodford via Murgon, Nanango, Yarraman, Kilcoy (Inland country highway scenic farming areas) lunch on the way.

3.30 pm – Arrive Neerum Creek Camping area overnight camping and campfire meal.

Day 4 – Monday

8.00 am – Neerum Creek to Esk via Kilcoy, Summerset Lake Lunch at Summerset Lake Park.

2.00 pm – Arrive and settle in at Esk Caravan Village. overnight Cabins Twin Share.

3.30 pm – Short ride to local areas.

6.00 pm – Walk to local Hotel, Dinner and Socializing.

Day 5 – Tuesday

8.00 am – Ride to Murwillumbah via Brisbane Valley Highway to Marburg, link up to M1 motorway to Nerang and Mudgeeraba. Lunch at Mudgeeraba.

2.30 pm - Mudgeeraba to Murwillumbah via Currumbin Valley

3.30 pm – Murwillumbah to Uki via Tweed River Valley.

4.00 pm – Arrive Mavis’s Cabins at Mt Warning (the Old Farmhouse all to ourselves for the next 3 days.)

6.30 pm - B.B.Q. Dinner Drinks and Socializing.

Day 6 – Wednesday

9.00 am – Tour Mt Warning National Park and free leisure time to yourselves. Cool mountain pools & scenic walks.

6.30 pm – Dinner This is now the time to show your culinary skills as you are preparing dinner for all members of our tour, followed by a jam session (musical).

Day 7 – Thursday

Ride and explore additional National Parks in close proximity or free time to yourself.

Day 8 – Friday

8.00 am – Ride from Uki to Border Rangers (Railway loop) via Kyogle & Wiangaree. Ride the best mountain roads in Australia. Stop to visit Border Loop (Historic Railway Tunnel) Lunch on way.

1.30 pm – Ride through Richmond Gap Qld & N.S.W. Border s via Glenapp and Dulbolla.

3.30 pm – Arrive Flanagan Reserve, Rathdowney two nights camping aussie style.

Day 9 – Saturday

8.00 am – Tour Mt Barney National Park and free leisure time.

Return to Flanagan Reserve for lunch.

Afternoon ride to Killarney Falls and return.

6.30 pm – Bus to Woodenbong Hotel for dinner and socializing.

Day 10 – Sunday

8.00 am – Rathdowney to Glamorgan Vale via Boonah, Rosewood, Wallan, & Marburg lunch on way,

2.30 pm – Arrive Glamorgan Vale Hotel camping grounds

6.00 pm – Dinner and Socializing at the Hotel.

Day 11 – Monday

This is our last day riding through spectacular farming areas and passing along side two large water storage lakes.

8.00 am – Return to oz motorbike tours home base via Lowood, Fernvale, and the eastern side of Lake Wivenhoe through the western side of Summerset Dam lunch at Kilcoy 11.30am

1.30 pm – Ride to Sunshine Coast via Beerwah/Landsborough to arrive at our base around 2.30 pm for-Farewells
